This weekend I am attending a two day workshop that she is offering with her husband and partner Brian. I am lucky that it is being held right up the street from where I live. I went tonight for a meet and greet with a few others who are attending. People are coming from all over the nation for this class. I met people from Washington DC, New Jersey, Texas, and more. I am SO excited about this class, and I can not wait to use all of the new tricks/techniques and advise that she is going to give me. It is going to be a full weekend of learning.... I can not wait, even though I will probably look like this by the end of the weekend! HA

What A Wonderful Surprise !!!
For those of you who do not know, I work during the week as an operating room nurse. Earlier this week, I went to take a break from the open heart room and sat down in the lounge at the computer. I went to a blog of an amazing photographer, Me Ra Koh, http://merakohblog.com/ , and to my surprise the post was about ME! Me Ra is one of the top photographers in the nation right now, and I was completely thrilled to have her recognize me and my adventure into the world of photography. If you have not ever seen Me Ra's work, check out her web site at http://merakoh.com/. She is TOTALLY amazing!

A Day at Spooner Farms
We had a great time down at Spooner Farms today. 19 kids came out! Many pumpkins were carefully selected, carmel corn and carmel apples were eaten, a few were lost for what seemed like hours in the corn maze and everyone seemed to have a great time! I thought that it would be fun to have one picture of each child for you to see on the blog. For those of you who made it down to the pumpkin patch, I will be contacting you and letting you know when the pictures will be available to you on pictage.

I will take as many photos as I can and then will get them uploaded for you guys to view and purchase off of pictage.com.

Come pick out your pumpkin!!!
October 13th or 14th
1000-1200
Fall has arrived! The kids are so excited for Halloween and the annual pumpkin patch trip. We are going to do a photo shoot on either October 13th or 14th at Spooner Farms in Orting from approximately 1000-1200. Let me know what day you think would work best for your family and we will finalize the plans. If there is enough interest, we can potentially do it both days!
There will be no charge for coming down to the shoot. I will take as many pictures as possible and then post them on pictage.com for all of you to see and purchase. I hope you can make it. It really is a fun day. They have a great corn maze, pumpkin sling shots, lots of goodies to eat and more. It is a great place!
I suppose that I should say that this will be weather permitting... with this Northwest weather, if it really raining we may postpone the event.... if it is just soggy, requiring rain boots and patience.... it is still a go! Please post a comment or email me at zsmontgomery@comcast.net if you have any questions or if you think you might make it down.
