Let me introduce you to Danielle. We had an amazing maternity session a few months ago. I would have loved to look like this at the end of my pregnancies! Danielle was completely willing to do and try anything. We got some absolutely beautiful images of her. This shoot happened while Danielle's husband Joey was in Iraq. Joey was at the end of his tour and was scheduled to return home a few weeks before the birth of their child.Joey followed Danielle's pregnancy through emails, phone calls and web cams... so he had seen her, but we wanted to try to capture some images that they would both be able to enjoy now and long after their little one was born.We were fortunate to have a beautiful afternoon to shoot. I was so excited to find these amazing colors so late in November. This little one is going to be a girl.
While in Iraq, Joey met a family that had a very special little girl with whom he had a special bond. It is this little girl that Danielle and Joey chose to name their little one after... Amira.Someday, I hope to have images of this little one to share with you.Joey arrived home from Iraq safe and sound just in time to be with Danielle for the birth of baby Amira.
I wish Danielle and Joey the best of luck as they begin their journey of parenthood with their beautiful little girl. Joey just left today for his next assignment, luckily this time it is NOT in Iraq and soon Danielle and Amira will be able to join him. Hopefully I will be able to sneak some photos of beautiful Amira with her mommy before they leave!
